As I have promised to bring 1 easy & delicious Keto recipe every week, this is the second recipe of my EAST KETO DIET SERIES.

Shrimp is a good source of healthy omega-3 fats for heart health. And they are lower in mercury than other types of seafood, making them an easy way to have a light and nutritious meal.
During the summer times, we are all more excited to go outside and enjoy the sunlight, and it helps to get through the evening before bed. Every good day we had you can make sure we are out with BBQ. It’s one of the best things to do.
I like to grill skewers or “kebabs/kabobs” because you get everything you need on one of the skewers. Your protein and vegetables are simmered at the same time and this was one of the quickest things we have grilled.

Ingredients Required

  • 1 lb of peeled & deveined large-sized shrimp
  • 1 lb pork or chicken sausage cut into 1/2 rounds
  • 2 sliced ​​zucchini in the middle
  • 1 red pepper chopped into lumps
  • 1 yellow pepper chopped into lumps
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 medium onion, chopped into 1-inch pieces
  • 3 teaspoons Cajun Seasoning
  • Salt and Pepper

Step-by-Step Direction to cook Keto Cajun-style Shrimp and Sausage Kebabs

Step 1.  In a large bowl add the shrimp, sausage, zucchini, bell pepper, onion, and salt and pepper. Grease with olive oil and cajun seasoning.

Step 2. Add the shrimp, sausage, zucchini, onion, and peppers to each skewer.

Step 3. Heat the grill over medium heat. Grill each side for 1-2 minutes until the shrimp is opaque and the veggies are soft.

Step 4. To serve: Sprinkle with fresh lemon juice and garnish with fresh cilantro, if desired.

Notes

  • SOAK YOUR SKEWERS! To prevent them from burning. Also, it will make it easier for them to slide food into them.
  • If you want to make it thinner a little more, add some extra virgin olive oil (with healthy oils!) Or water – add one teaspoon at a time to get the desired consistency.
  • This recipe can work with any protein – feel free to add Italian chicken or sausage instead of cajun sausage.
